Really exciting stuff, I can’t wait.  I know ‘Mirrors’ has been dropped but what of ‘Winter Of 69/70’ and ‘JFKFC’?  Have these two tracks also suffered the same fate as ‘Mirrors’ or have they simply be renamed?  Anyway I’m just glad ‘The Gospel Of Goro Adachi’ is still up for album consideration.  Excited about hearing the new tracks also.

I trust you guys to put together another stunning album like Exits, where each song fits perfectly with each other.

Oh, yes! ‘The Gospel Of Goro Adachi’ has passed your finest selection (no surprises there). Hope to listen to a new track on Myspace soon…

Despite Todd said this album would be more reflexive, just like the ‘Exits’ second half, I still expect some hard tracks like ‘Watermelon’, ‘The New Heavy’ or ‘All You Do Is Talk’. One of the best things of ‘Exits’ is that it has all type of songs and the listening changes a lot based on if you’re in a good/bad mood that day.

Anyway, I’m sure album 2 will be great without a doubt…

New song ‘Evacuate’ is quite heavy with a lot of emphasis on guitars.  It’s like ‘Watermelon’ but far more erratic and fast-paced.  I agree with you though Pirruko, as much as I love the new songs so far, I can’t help feel they need a couple more hard hitting rockers in the selection.  Maybe there are, who knows.  ‘Red Tape’ or ‘Move On’ could be their heaviest track yet.  TBR are good at diversifying like that, it’s what sets them apart from all the Coldplay-esque bands/clones.

Thanks for the info Acquiescence. Despite I’ve listened to some new songs in Youtube played live I can’t imagine how they’ll sound in the album at the end. I totally agree with your last sentence.

Nothing really happened to them, we just got bored of Winter of 69/70.  Its really the best guage for us.  If If we start to tire of it then its a sign.

Having said that, we play JFKFC all the time at rehearsals.  Its got a huge ending but unfortunately it wont be on the record as much as we all like it.  We’re going to have some really good b-sides though.

Do you think you’ll release a B-sides album at some point in the distant future??

It might be worth considering releasing an EP at some point.  5 tracks or so, you could have JFKFC, Winter Of 69/70 and…THE RESCUE!
